School and group campus visits
We are once again hosting visitors on our campus. Should government guidelines or university policy change, we will review what we are able to offer.
We deliver part-day, half-day and full-day campus visits (subject to availability) to enable students to experience university life and receive information, advice and guidance about higher education.
Campus visits will vary depending on the size of the group visiting, and room availability, but a typical visit will include:
- Introduction to Royal Holloway
- A campus tour
- A Q&A with our student ambassadors
For half and full days, we can also include other sessions such as:
- An academic session (e.g. a subject taster workshop or a lab tour)
- An Information, Advice, and Guidance session (e.g. about personal statement)
- Student life activities (discussing clubs, budgeting and more)
Example timetables
Specific timings can be adjusted to suit the groups' needs. For groups over 35 students, the timetable can be arranged in a carousel. All timetables are subject to staff and room availability.

EPQ visits
Egham, Surrey
We acknowledge the skills and independence developed by students completing the Extended Project Qualification and for many Royal Holloway Undergraduate courses, an EPQ will be taken into consideration and result in lower A-level grades being required for applicants. To watch and share our short video about the benefits of an EPQ, please click here.
Our EPQ visit days offer students the chance to learn research skills in an interactive session hosted by our librarians, as well as supervised use of our university library. Students can explore sources and supporting material for their projects while getting an insight into university level facilities. These visits are subject to the availability of our staff and facilities.
To enquire about an EPQ visit please contact us - international@rhul.ac.uk
