Royal Holloway offers a wide range of choral activity. The main College Choir is the Chapel Choir, which is made up of choral scholars auditioned before entry to the College. This is complimented by two further choirs which students can join at the beginning of each academic year.
If you are interested in singing, or attending choral services and concerts, we hope you will find all the information you need here.
The Chapel Choir now has its own dedicated website full of audio and video samples, details of concerts and information about choral scholarship.

The Founder's Choir (formerly the Chamber Choir) is a group of approximately 40 singers who sing the main weekly service on Sunday evening. Members of the choir also sing for some of the morning services is the chapel, fulfilling the wishes of the College's Founder, Thomas Holloway. The choir also gives concerts and, most years, will undertake a European tour.
Together with the Director of Choral Music, the Choir is run by a Committee who organise social events and fundraising activities throughout the year. Much of the impetus for activities or concerts comes from the students, often using contacts that they already have. For this year's committee, please see the Contact Us page
The Chorus is open to all members of Royal Holloway and is not auditioned. It aspires to high standards while featuring engaging and enjoyable repertoire. There is often an opportunity for solo parts to be taken by members of the choir. There are usually two concerts on campus each year, at least one with orchestral accompaniment.
