The Classics Department offers wide-ranging and intellectually stimulating programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You can learn Latin and Greek, study archaeology, ancient history, philosophy and literature at levels from introductory to research. Friendly, supportive teaching on a spectacular campus encourages students to make the best of one of the best university educations available.

All staff are active and enthusiastic researchers, with a track record of publications that progress our understanding of antiquity.
