Here's a companion listing to the bibliography of Greek historical fiction. It's culled mostly from published sources - notably Derek Elley, The Epic Film: Myth and History (London: Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1984) and Kenneth Mackinnon, Greek Tragedy into Film (London & New York: Croom Helm, 1986). I've given the English title of foreign-language items where an official English version exists (such as a dubbed version); the original (usually Italian) titles can be found in Elley's filmography. I haven't included early shorts and silents. All additions and corrections welcome. Look out for a much better site on all this in summer 2004 from the great Kim Shahabudin at Reading.
