The Media Arts Department has been ranked joint sixth in the U.K for its research in the Research Assessment Exercise results which have just been released. 20% of our research was deemed to be world leading and 55% of international excellence. This result, for a department which submitted considerable amounts of practice as well as theoretical work, is outstanding and rewards our serious commitment to cutting edge research.
