The Media Arts Centre
The Department’s Media Arts Centre offers students a professional working environment for developing media practice skills. The Centre is staffed by the Practice Support Team, most of whom have technical experience in the film & television industries and higher education teaching qualifications. The team provides training in television studio recording, location video production, production design, sound recording, digital photography, video editing, digital image manipulation and post production sound. The Centre has standardized on DVCAM as our production format and Final Cut Studio as our post-production platform, and we are currently planning migration to HDV at an appropriate time.
