Salary for the Lecturer position will be in the range of £38,849 to £45,974 pa. Senior Lecturer would be in the range of £47,289 to £54,480 pa, inclusive of London allowance.
Applications are invited for a permanent post at Lecturer level in the Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London. This post is part of a continuing strategic initiative to strengthen and expand research and teaching in the Department. In the case of applications, that demonstrate a well-established international research profile, a strong track record in gaining research funding and substantial teaching experience, the post could be upgraded to Senior Lecturer level.

The department has excellent facilities for undertaking research in a broad range of areas (with state-of-the-art facilities available, such as MRI, action research lab, cognitive behavioural testing suites, social observation lab, developmental studies centre). It also has strong links with NHS hospitals and medical schools, as well as government, industrial, and charity organisations. Successful applicants should possess a very good or excellent research record, as evidenced by publications and research grants, and should be enthusiastic about working in a multi-disciplinary environment. They should also possess the broad range of skills needed to teach effectively at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
