Royal Holloway is one of four major centres for Physics teaching and research in the University of London. The department has an outstanding international reputation for its research and is regularly rated near the top of UK league tables for teaching.

We carefully maintain a medium-sized department with an excellent staff-student ratio, a friendly atmosphere and individual attention that is highly conducive to learning.

Our location, on a beautiful and safe parkland campus to the west of London, is also very convenient for access to central London and Heathrow.
