Today (22 September) marks the launch of Welcome Week when thousands of new students are welcomed to the College for their first year of study at Royal Holloway, University of London.
Welcome Week is a time dedicated to all new students joining the College to help them settle in and familiarise themselves with the campus ahead of the start of term.
A welcome tent has been set up in the North Quad of the Founder’s Building where students can meet other Freshers, find out what’s going on each day and how they can get involved, talk to someone if they’re feeling homesick, as well as join in with games and competitions.
Current students and staff will also be on hand to answer any questions and point people in the right direction.
A Welcome Week Guide will be provided and includes details of events happening in the halls of residence from movie-night, speed-housemating to music events, as well as a Welcome Week Passport which lists key locations across campus, including places to eat.
