Over 220 graduates of Bedford College attended a reunion afternoon tea at the House of Commons on May 25, 2010.
Occupying both the Member's Dining Room and the Strangers Dining Room, guests were treated to a wonderful afternoon tea, in fine surroundings and looking out over the Thames.
There was a speech from our host for the day, The Rt Hon Philip Hammond MP, and the College's Acting Principal, Professor Rob Kemp.
It was a fantastic opportunity for graduates stretching back to the class of 1934 to make new friends, and catch up with those of old.
A second House of Commons event will be held later this year or in early 2011, following the extraordinary demand for tickets to this event. We are sorry for all those who couldn't attend the May reunion, but look forward to seeing you at the next event.
