Friends gathered in the Alameda Restaurant
The Beijing Chapter for Royal Holloway alumni held its official launch event on Saturday 12 March at the Alameda Restaurant in the city. The Chapter, which is led by our two Regional Ambassadors Jing Wu and Xuefei Yuan, was established to promote international alumni activity, giving alumni in Beijing the opportunity to network and socialise with fellow Royal Holloway classmates.
The launch event was attended by twenty-four alumni, who enjoyed dinner and drinks at the restaurant. Jing Wu said that 'the reunion went very well. We all had a great time, the food was delicious, and people got to meet each other and enjoy themselves'. An International Officer from Royal Holloway was also present at the event to give an update on College life, and reinforce the importance of alumni staying connected, both with each other and the College.
We hope that in the future there will be further events such as this. The next event planned is at the end of May, when the Principal will be visiting Beijing for graduation ceremonies and a grand alumni reunion. For more information please email Fiona.Reddingrhul.ac.uk|
