On Friday 29th July, six alumni gathered for lunch in Merivale, Christchurch. Alumni were drawn from all Colleges and years of graduation, from a Royal Holloway College Botany graduate from 1950, right up to an Music alumna who graduated in 2001 from RHBNC, as it is now known.
Jane van Tilborg (Chemistry, 1974 and 1977) is the alumni ambassador for New Zealand, and was responsible for organising the event. She said that the restaurant was 'a lively location, and the food was excellent. As in Auckland, we had a true mix of age groups and disciplines and some great conversation'.
