The Royal Holloway branch of the Association of University Administrators was successfully re-launched on Thursday 16 October 2008  with a very encouraging turnout in the newly refurbished Picture Gallery.  We were fortunate to have the support of Sir Peter Scott (AUA President), Maureen Skinner (AUA Chair 2008-10) and Terry Bransbury (AUA London Region Co-ordinator) who all attended the event.

AUA members are drawn from all areas of University administration - from central administration and departments.  Anyone interested in developing their career in professional university administration, at whatever stage they have currently reached in their career, is welcome to join.  We believe AUA offers an excellent opportunity for both those new to the higher education sector, and others who are more familiar with its context and values.

As the Royal Holloway AUA Branch Coordinator I am happy to talk to all members of staff who would like to know more about the AUA. Please feel free to email| me or give me a call on extension 3357. Alternatively if you'd like to come and talk to me in person, I'm located in FE35.
