You need to buy either Benson, L.D., ed.,The Riverside Chaucer (the 1988 or the 2008 edition is fine) or Havely, N. R. and Helen Phillips, eds, Chaucer's Dream Poetry (London & New York: Longman, 1997).
We will be studying The Book of the Duchess, The Parliament of Fowls and The House of Fame.
You need to buy Anderson, J. J., ed., Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Pearl, Patience, Cleanness (London: Everyman, 1996). We will be studying Pearl.
You need to buy Kempe, Margery, The Book of Margery Kempe, ed. by Lynn Staley (Kalamazoo, Michigan: Medieval Institute Publications, 1996), also available online at TEAMS. (Just google ‘Margery Kempe Staley’ and it is the second site listed) or, if you’d rather read it in translation, buy Kempe, Margery, The Book of Margery Kempe, ed. and trans. by Barry Windeatt (London: Longman: 1999)
