Incubation services and facilities

Enterprise Centre exteriorThe Royal Holloway Enterprise Centre can provide office space and access to business support for local, knowledge-based business start-ups. Terms are designed for start-ups, with no obligation to commit to long or fixed term leases; after the initial 60 day period, tenants may terminate their leases with only 30 days notice. Rental rates are cost-effective compared to office accommodation available in the commercial sector.

Enterprise Centre receptionThe Enterprise Centre has a reception which during normal office hours handles switchboard calls, incoming mail, issues car parking permits and general visitor enquires. Photocopying and fax facilities are also available to tenants. Outside of normal office hours, the Enterprise Centre is accessed through code controlled doors.

The Centre is accessible by our business tenants 24/7, all year round.

Regular office in the Enterprise CentreOur office units vary in size, from two person units up to our larger units which can accomodate up to six people. We provide high speed internet access, telephone points (charges extra), heating, light and power. Tenants supply their own furniture and office equipment. We do not have wet lab facilities within the Centre. Prices are £21 per square foot for non-airconditioned units and £24 per square foot. A £500 desposit is required and payments are payable in advance on the first day of the month, by standing order. A typical two person unit would costs approximately £2,000 + vat per year, a four person unit approximately £4,000 + vat per year.  

 

Large meeting room in the Enterprise CentreOur business tenants have access, at no extra cost, to two meeting rooms within the Centre. The Board Room (shown on the right ) can accomodate meetings of up to ten people, the smaller meeting room can accomodate up to six people. The meeting rooms are available for internal meetings and for meeting external contacts, clients and so. Subject to availability (and extra payments) much larger meeting rooms and conference facilities are available on campus. Our business tenants also enjoy a 10% discount on the use (subject to availability) of our central London meeting rooms at Bedford Square.

Health Psychology Research Ltd

HPR Ltd logoFounded by Professor Clare Bradley of the Department of Psychology at Royal Holloway, HPR Ltd manages the licensing of questionnaires for use by researchers and clinicians in clinical trials, as well as other research studies, routine audit and clinical practice. Athough using specialist translators for the questionnaires, the HPR in-house team is multi-lingual and able to deal with queries in French, Italian, Spanish, German, Dutch, Polish and Russian.
