The Depository is the fourth library on Royal Holloway campus.
It was built in the 1950’s as a closed access library store for all of the colleges of the University of London. The Depository's capacity is 3/4 of a million books.
Royal Holloway Information Services uses the Depository to store lesser used material. This creates space within the libraries on campus for stock expansion and PC suites to enable users to harness electronic resources.
All material held in the Depository Library remains available for loan.
The Depository Library web pages explain how you can order material held in the Depository and provides a form that you can complete in order to submit a request for material held in the Depository. Please use the Library Catalogue to search for materials in the depository.
