UNDERGRADUATE

Our Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts is one of the few in the country to place an equal weight on the teaching of practice and theory.

Our students pursue and develop their practical and creative skills as well as fostering their analytical and critical faculties in the study of media history and theory.

Our B.A. in Film Studies offers students of high academic aptitude the opportunity to devote themselves to the critical appreciation and analysis of film and television. For 2012 entry we and our colleagues in Royal Holloway’s renowned Department of English are launching an exciting new Joint Bachelor of Arts programme in English and Film Studies.

MA PROGRAMMES

Our internationally renowned Masters in Documentary, Producing  and Screenwriting for Film and TV are taught by media professionals who have held or are still holding high-ranking positions in the industry.

POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH

As a postgraduate student you will be part of a vibrant, international community of around thirty PhD students, who are working on both theoretical and practice-based topics.
