Studying Music at Royal Holloway provides the opportunity to expand your knowledge of music from a variety of practical, historical, global and contemporary standpoints. You can develop your skills in performance, music history and theory, composition, world music and music technology, all within a framework that rewards serious intellectual engagement with various forms of music in the many spaces that it occupies in today's world.
Our nationally and internationally-renowned Music Department is one of the UK's largest. Our teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels has been consistently at the forefront of the discipline.
