Master in Physics (EuroMasters)
This two year MSc (120 ECTS) programme is offered by the Department of Physics, Royal Holloway University of London as part of its membership of SEPnet| (South East Physics Network).
The programme is aimed primarily at:

Students from mainland Europe wishing to undertake M-level training in the UK.

International students from outside the EU wishing to undertake a programme of Masters training. The Masters in Physics provides pre-doctoral training which qualifies students to pursue a Ph.D anywhere in Europe

The programme reflects that fact that your interests may develop and change as you pursue your studies.
Research projects are taken in a research group| at RHUL, or maybe jointly supervised with one of our local collaborators and involve research activity there.
Collaborators include: Rutherford Appleton Laboratory| and the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus| (including ISIS| neutron spallation source and DIAMOND| synchrotron x-ray scattering facility); National Physical Laboratory|; Oxford Instruments (Nanoscience)|; SEPnet|.
SEPnet is a consortium of six universities: University of Kent, Queen Mary University of London, Royal Holloway University of London, University of Southampton, University of Surrey, University of Sussex. This consortium consists of around 160 academics, with an exceptionally wide range of expertise.
A limited number of scholarships may be open to students from the EU.
