Dr Castelnovo is a lecturer and SEPnet| fellow of the Condensed Matter Theory| group in the Physics Department| of Royal Holloway College|, University of London. He is also a member of the Hubbard Theory Consortium|.  

Research Interests

  • constraints in classical and quantum systems
  • out of equilibrium phenomena, freezing and glassiness
  • frustrated magnetism
  • entanglement, topological order, quantum information and quantum computing
