Condensed Matter Theory

CMTgroup

The condensed matter theory group at Royal Holloway Physics Department| works on strongly correlated systems and cold atomic gases. Its members are also part of the Hubbard Theory Consortium|.

A 3-year postdoc position is currently available in the Condensed Matter Theory department. Please refer to the advertisement here|. Informal contact: Professor Matthias Eschrig.

A PhD studenship is currently available in the Condensed Matter Theory department, to support the search for Majorana Fermions in 3He edge states conducted in house in the London Low Temperature Laboratory (another matching experimental PhD studentship is available there). Please contact Professor Matthias Eschrig (for theory) or Professor John Saunders (for experiment).
