Dr Stephanie Carvin joined the Department in September 2006. Dr Carvin was awarded her PhD at the London School of Economics on "The United States and the Politics of the Laws of War since 1945" in that same year.

Stephanie was the Editorial Production Manager of the European Journal of International Relations from 2004-6 and previously worked as a Research Officer for the Canadian Institute of Strategic Studies in Toronto.

Stephanie specialises in the politics of international law, the laws of war, and United States foreign policy. She also has a strong interest in international relations theory.
