The Department welcomes approaches from those considering applications to the major research funding bodies.

British Academy Research Fellowships.
Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowships.
Royal Society Research Fellowships and Senior Research Fellowships.
Senior Research Council Fellowships (AHRC, ESRC, EPSRC).

If you are considering an application to one of the listed Fellowship schemes, we urge you to send an expression of interest to the Head of Department, Dr Nathan Widder, at least eight weeks in advance of the relevant funding body's deadline for applications. All expressions of interest will be considered by the Department's Research Committee and the College's selection committee. The Department and/or the College cannot guarantee that it will support your application.

This does not preclude individuals interested in applying for schemes other than those on the list approaching the Department.

Postgraduate Scholarships

Scholarship opportunities for 2009/10 will be announced when information is available.
