I became a member of EDC in February 2008. I promote and facilitate the development of learning, teaching and assessment using technology, and work with academic colleagues in support of e-learning activities. I create and deliver training on e-learning technologies and their pedagogical value to a wide range of staff and students. I assist in the support, maintenance and development of the Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle). I am dedicated to continuously developing my experience through research, networking and training opportunities. Much of the focus of my work is on blending learning strategies.
I became involved in E-Learning during my degree at Middlesex University. My dissertation focused on a cognitive user centred design process in E-Learning and my research was recognised by the University, winning both the BCS Jim Kennedy prize for most innovative project and the Macromedia prize for best product. Since completing my BSc I have worked for Eurotalk Interactive as Production Manager, developing interactive language learning products for schools and the global open market. I joined the drama department of Royal Holloway in 2005 as IT coordinator. After two and a half years I moved to EDC to take up my current role.
