I joined Royal Holloway in April 2009 as an Educational Development Officer - Blended Learning. My primary role is to support teaching on SWan modules and courses particularly in implementing new learning technologies.
My professional background was initially in Open Learning at Manchester College of Arts and Technologies. I edited and wrote modules for professional clients before moving into Information Learning Technologies.
At the University of Salford I supported academics in curriculum development and was Learning Technologies Fellow for my Faculty.
Most recently I have created the online VLE presence for the innovative Manchester Leadership Programme at the University of Manchester ( http://www.mlp.manchester.ac.uk/) and designed, part-written and produced an online 10 credit unit for the programme.

I studied Classics at Bedford College and completed my MA in Classics at Royal Holloway and Bedford New College the year after the colleges merged.
