FP7 European Research Council funding opportunities and proposal workshop

 

To assist interested applicants applying for funding under the the European Council Starting Grant call deadlines 14 Oct, 9 Nov and 24 Nov R&E have organised a workshop with the assistance of a number of RHUL academics to help those interested in the call to better understand what the call is looking for and to help develop strong proposals that meet the scheme’s criteria.

The workshop is being held on 4 Oct between 2pm and 4pm in the Large Board room in Founders Building. 

Euan Nisbet and Clive Gamble are on the ERC peer review panels and will give some insight into what the applicant needs to bear in mind in developing the proposal. In addition Manos Tsakiris who has recently secured an ERC proposal will give his perspective of putting together a strong proposals and issues to bear in mind. 

2.00 – 2.30pm – Euan views from Peer review perspective

2.30pm – 3pm – Clive views from Peer review perspective

3pm – 3.30pm – Manos views from preparing a successful proposal.

Q&A 3.30pm – 4pm

If anyone is interested in attending could they please let Hitesh Patel know as space will be limited if there is more interest since the workshop is in the Large Board room. Tea and Coffee will be provided.
