UoA REF Leads
A UoA REF Lead (or REF Leads in the case of a joint submission to the same UoA) has been approved by the relevant Dean for each UoA included in the College’s REF submission - see table below for details. The UoA REF Leads are senior academics from a discipline relevant to the UoA who will work with the Faculty Dean and the relevant HoDs to prepare the REF submission for their UoA including development of statements for thresholds for submission of staff. REF Leads are members of the Faculty REF steering groups.
Statements and quality thresholds for each UoA have been developed by the relevant HoD and UoA REF Lead within a standardised template. The Statements and quality thresholds were then approved by the College REF Group. Links to each of the Statements and quality thresholds are given below (you must be connected to the campus network to access these documents).
These Statements and quality thresholds will be used for modelling the submission to the REF and may be subject to modification on advice from the College REF Steering Group in accordance with the College's aims for the REF as stated in its Code of Practice on the Selection of Staff for Submission to the REF. Any amended Statements and quality thresholds will be made available in the table below.
