Partnership and collaboration

Royal Holloway is acknowledged for research excellence in the arts, humanities and sciences. Our research community attracts leading academics and research students from throughout the world and collaborates on research projects with other international universities|, industry|, charities, governments and public agencies|.

|The results of the current Research Assessment Exercise (RAE 2008)| confirm Royal Holloway’s position among the top research-led universities in the UK, with outstanding areas in all three Faculties of Arts & Social Sciences, Management & Economics and Science|. 

Research and Enterprise work with academic colleagues to align their research with national strategic priorites, immediate business requirements and the goals of charities. Research and Enterprise maintain close contact with all the main UK Research Councils| including the Technology Strategy Board |and Knowledge Transfer Networks.| We also maintain an influential network within the European Union| to ensure awareness of research priorites and funding opportunities. 

We are always seeking opportunities to work with organisations in which our joint expertise can create new partnerships to accelerate the generation of new knowledge and delivery of innovative products, processes and services.
