Royal Holloway Science Festival, 16-23 March

Discover, celebrate and be part of science at Royal Holloway where Science Fact, Science Fiction is this year's theme. Super Science Saturday hosts a huge range of activities suitable for all ages across campus. Admission is free. 
Bring a picnic and immerse yourself in our science-themed Alternative Village Fete where artists, crafts people, performers and producers| will come together and invite you to join in and experience their take on science. It promises to be a feast for the senses!

  • Take part in our live Twitter hunt and see your activity mapped across campus
  • Learn the truth behind common myths about the brain, find out about our research on autism and eyewitness testimony, see our brain scanner in action
  • Find out whether levitating objects are fact or fiction  , build roller coasters, play Particle 'Guess Who'
  • Visit our Harry Potter-style Wizard Lab and explore some biological legends - can bumblebees sting you? If they do, do they die?
  • Try your hand cracking codes and learn how good are you at translating Klingon
  • Have a go at building your own Lego robot and see if you can outwit our robots at Connect 4
