If you would like to explore some of the major areas of modern French culture in an interdisciplinary context this new Master's course is for you.

Royal Holloway's new MA in Modern French Literary and Cultural Studies is taught by a team of leading specialists in all aspects of French culture since the mid-nineteenth century, including visual and gender studies, francophone literature, literary theory, fiction and poetry. The MA also gives you the opportunity to take modules from the Hispanic Studies, Italian, or German MAs that form part of the overall Master's Programme in European Culture and Theory taught jointly by the modern languages departments.
