We guarantee accommodation for applications submitted before the deadline. Please note, due to the high demand for student housing, we cannot guarantee accommodation for undergraduate new students after the deadline date.

Information about applications received before the deadline

  • All students who have chosen "single gender" accommodation will only be allocated Founders or Kingswood as stated in the online application.
  • Students who have a saved online application and wish to be considered for accommodation must submit their application before the deadline.

Students holding unconditional offers will be allocated within 28 days after the 3 June 2011.   Students who are direct entrants into their second year must apply as first year students before the deadline to be considered.

Allocation Process

Students eligible for halls of residence will be communicated to their email address (which has been provided to the Admissions Department), to notify them when the online system has been activated. The allocation process attempts to offer applicants as close a match to their accommodation preferences as is practical. However, this is subject to room availability at the time of allocation and inevitably some students' requirements will not be met
