Lifelong learning

We recognise that not all those hoping to pursue a degree course or further educational qualifications are able to study full-time. Royal Holloway is always seeking to develop the modes of delivery of its courses to cater for the needs of growing numbers of new kinds of learners.

You may be considering study on a part-time basis, either to enhance your career prospects and employability, or to simply learn more about a new academic area. Alternatively, you may not be able to attend regular lectures, and would prefer the flexibility of one of our distance learning courses.

Part-time courses

A wide range of part-time courses are offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, ranging from the BA in Classical Studies to the MSc in Information Security. With a range of delivery methods, they allow you to balance study with other responsibilities, such as work or family commitments.
