What happens next

Under our  f|ees and funding| section you’ll find out the fees charged on each course and given details on government loans|, bursaries and scholarships that you can apply for.

If you’re planning on paying your own fees you should make note of the instalment plan deadlines.|

If you’re a UK undergraduate student applying for a tuition fee and/or maintenance loan, make your application as soon as possible after applying to Royal Holloway.

You can also take a look at our bursaries and scholarship pages| to check your eligibility for the various awards on offer.

The accommodation application system opens in spring. You apply for accommodation using the online application form. Further information can be found on the accommodation pages|.

You should make note of the accommodation application deadlines, which are usually in June for undergraduates and July for postgraduates. You can check on the deadline dates  |page.

Due to the high demand for on-campus accommodation, you’re encouraged to make an early application.

Royal Holloway also operates House Search|, a service for students who would prefer to live in a private sector house.

If you’re applying from outside the European Union, consult the information on the international webpages regarding student visas|.

You’ll also find pre-departure information| for international students with advice on planning for study, travelling to the UK and our free airport collection service. 

There is also details about our orientation and welcome programme |for new international students, which is designed to make your transition to the UK as smooth as possible.
