Sustainability

About sustainability

woodland flora1Sustainability at Royal Holloway is integral to what we do and how we operate. We are providing leadership on sustainability through our facilities, our campus, our education and research and through a culture of sustainability at the College.

Sustainability is about bringing sustainable thinking into the core of organisations and businesses. For a university that means embedding sustainability in our core business of providing education.

We can educate for sustainability through the curriculum we offer, through our campus and facilities and through creating and promoting a culture of sustainability throughout the College. If we manage to provide sustainability education through these channels our students will graduate with an awareness of sustainability and be in a position to factor these into their future decision-making.

We aim to provide as much information on our webpages as possible to help you be sustainable at the College and so you can play your part in creating a culture of sustainability. If you'd like to know more here is a brief introduction |to what we do and if you'd like to be more involved have a look at our get involved page or just get in contact with us. We look forward to creating a culture of sustainability with you.
