Do you have all of the documentation that you will need when arriving in the UK and taken photocopies in case the originals get lost?

- documentation showing proof of funding (sufficient for tuition and living)
- letter from sponsor confirming to pay fees (if appropriate)
- documentation showing Conditions of College offer met (e.g. English language competency certificates)
- passport sized photographs x 6
- documentation showing accommodation arrangements

Finance

Have you considered paying your full year’s tuition fee in advance to qualify for the early payment discount?

If you sign up online and pay your full year’s tuition fee by 7 September 2012, you could qualify for an early payment discount of up to £400
|

If you wish to pay your fee by instalments, have you signed up online?
|
If you wish to pay your tuition fees in instalments, you first need to register your intention to do this online|

University insurance will not cover you for any loss or damage to your possessions whether you are staying in private or university accommodation.

Have you submitted an online application| for accommodation

Have you received an electronic contract from the Accommodation Office and formally accepted it?

Have you made a note of which hall of residence you will be in and your floor / room number?

Accommodation (private)
|

Have you made arrangements for temporary accommodation for when you first arrive, while you look for a house?
|

|
Have you looked for private housing on the College’s Housesearch website, which lists properties still available in the local area?

Have you ensured that you have sufficient funds available to pay for any expenses while looking, and then also to pay for a deposit once you have found a place?

A typical deposit for a room can be anything up to 2 months’ rent in advance.
