Over 600 courses to choose from
Study abroad students can choose from over 600 courses across our eighteen departments, in subject areas including classical and contemporary English literature, film and television studies, drama and theatre, modern and ancient history, international relations, psychology, biological and environmental sciences, management and economics.
A campus experience
Royal Holloway's campus provides the ideal setting for a study abroad experience. The campus, just 19 miles away from central London, ensures students feel at home in their new environment, but still have easy access to a wide range of locations around the UK and Europe. There is a package of visits included in the study abroad fee, which often includes theatre trips in London's West End and local attractions such as Windsor Castle. The campus also offers a supportive environment, and we pride ourselves on the support we offer study abroad students at Royal Holloway; each academic department has a dedicated Study Abroad Advisor and on-site welfare services ensure students don't need to go far if they need extra help or support.
An integrated programme fee
Students who choose to study at Royal Holloway benefit from an integrated programme fee which covers tuition as well as accommodation. Campus accommodation is guaranteed to students who apply by the published deadlines, and the rooms offered are single, with an en-suite shower room and an internet network connection, just minutes walk away from the College's academic buildings.
